About

Lil Rob is an American rapper, producer Summer Nights received national airplay, a first in his career. Summer Nights peaked at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #13 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart. The follow-up single, Bring Out The Freak In You, peaked at #85 on the Hot 100 Charts, and at #20 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart. The exposure led to small roles in the 2005 Cuba Gooding Jr. film Dirty and the 2007 Rob Schneider vehicle Big Stan, both of which were released straight to DVD in the US. Lil Rob has collaborated with musicians such as E-40, Ice Cube, Kid Frost, Paul Wall, The Game, Pitbull, N.O.R.E., Bizzy Bone, Baby Bash, Fat Joe, Flo Rida, MC Magic, and Cuco. Lil Rob and Mr. Shadow were in a group called the Mayhem Click.Mellow Man Ace focused on lovers rap with a blend of urban hip hop and occasional bilingual delivery, and a heady gift for novelty rhymes. His debut album Escape From Havana was released on Capitol on August 29, 1989, and featured production from the Dust Brothers and Def Jef. The single Mentirosa was released on March 9, 1990. It was his only hit single, peaking at Number 14 on Billboards Hot 100 Chart. Ace recorded one additional album, The Brother with Two Tongues, before virtually retiring from the music scene, but 2000 saw the release of the album From the Darkness into the Light. Next came the album Vengo a Cobrar. It was released on June 8, 2004, on Dimelo Records. In 2006, he collaborated with his brother Sen Dog of hip-hop group Cypress Hill, culminating in the album release Ghetto Therapy. 2010 saw the release of the album Restoring Order. In 2018, he released the single, South Gate. Mellow Man Ace was also a founding member of the hip hop group Cypress Hill and member of the Latin Alliance project.

Before you go

A few honest notes about what this calendar is, and what it is not.

This calendar is for enjoyment

It is published for information and entertainment only, to help neighbors find something worth doing. It is not advice of any kind, and nothing on it forms an agreement between us.

We do not sell tickets

No ticket is ever sold here, and no booking or payment is taken. When a listing links out to tickets, that link goes to the organizer or their ticketing provider, and your purchase is entirely between you and them.

Please check before you set off

Listings are gathered automatically from public calendars and event feeds, and organizers change plans without telling us. Dates, times, prices, age limits and venues can all move, and events are sometimes cancelled. Always confirm the details on the organizer’s own page - which every listing links to - before traveling or spending money.

No endorsement, and no gatekeeping

Appearing here is not a recommendation. We do not vet, rate or endorse organizers, venues or performers, and we are not responsible for what happens at an event. Equally, we do not curate by viewpoint or belief, and nobody pays for a place on this calendar. We may highlight favorites now and then, and we will say so when we do. We remove a listing only when its source asks us to, or when it is unlawful.

You will not be chased about real estate

You will see the Holly & Chris Luxury Homes name here, because we publish this calendar for the communities we love. Browsing it does not add you to a mailing list, and nobody will ring you about your home because you looked up a concert. If you would ever like to talk real estate, though, we would genuinely love to hear from you - the number below is a standing invitation, never an obligation.

Spotted something wrong, or want your event corrected or removed? Please write to team@hollyandchrisluxuryhomes.com and we will put it right.

And if you simply want to say hello, call (818) 306-7901. You are always welcome.
